Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Cross Functional team Leadership for Manufacturing Engineering within New Program

- Coordinate work package tasks and ensure their accomplishment.

- Coordinate the plant launch teams of the plants involved in the program.

- Coordinate activities and tasks fulfilment of the Program Manufacturing team.

- Coordinate activities with process specialists.

- Act as the interface between the Program Core team and the plant(s).

- In agreement with the program manager, technical interface with the customer and the component suppliers.

Product interface (manufacturability)

- Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineers.

- Ensure manufacturing feasibility.

- Manage the Prototype Build and Delivery and Analysis.

- Implement all changes related to production system and/or related to the product (as of Engineering Change Management for cost, timing, process).

Production System Development

- Study, develop in detail, validate, release and
- up the complete Production System of the program: equipment and tool interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives.

- Manage key documents: Master Principles, P-FMEA, capacity study, time analysis (MTM), layout and budget.

Production launch

- Manage the Production Part Approval Process (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial).

- Manage the Production Launch.

- Support the Production Ramp-up.

Targets and reporting

- During the acquisition phase, support the industrial strategy of a program (cycle times, flexibility…).

- Achieve all manufacturing program objectives (Quality, Costs, Delivery, Performance) such as Process and Machine Capabilities, MPM, PPM and Scrap rate, CAPEX, PPH, etc.

- Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities.

- Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards.

- Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education Level:

Engineering Degree

Experience :

- Experience in automotive industry.

- Preferred minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement with Lean principles application.

- Project management experience (as a plus).

Skills and competencies :

- Strong Teamwork.

- Proven technical skills on product and process.

- Ability to manage functional plant Manufacturing Engineering network.

- Familiar with finance topics (costing, P&L, investments).

- English required / Portuguese and/or French as a plus.

- Ease with CAD tools.

- Driving License.
