Who are you?
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our dynamic global team. Located in our Lisbon office, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT systems.
As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the daily operations of our systems and applications, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency. You will work closely with
- functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and optimise our processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent
- solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a
- paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as this role involves assisting users with their questions and ensuring they receive timely and effective support.
You will be involved in the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of our IT systems, contributing to the overall improvement of our operations. Moreover, you will be tasked with developing and documenting standard operating procedures, as well as providing training and support to junior staff when necessary.

In this role, you will:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues across the organisation.
- Ensure efficient on and off boarding of equipment and systems.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring high levels of performance and availability.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and documentation to optimise operations.
- Mentor and train junior IT support staff to enhance team capabilities and service levels.
- Collaborate with
- functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges. - Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company standards and security protocols.
- Participate in and lead IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline processes
What can you bring to the table?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalence in experience)
- Microsoft Certified qualifications to Microsoft Azure Fundamentals level minimum
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies such as Entra, In
Tune, Exchange, Azure AD, Share
Point - Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems such as Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Excellent
- solving and analytical skills with a
- focused approach - Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible environment
