CONTEXT
Richemont’s Workplace Systems product area provides Group standards for computing devices in a variety of workplace environments, including manufactures, warehouses, boutiques, and offices.
You will deal with other engineers, architects, and technical experts, as well as business stakeholders at the Group level and within the Maisons, to transform business requirements into standards for devices of various type, such as computers, smartphones, tablets, screens, terminals, scanners, printers, digital whiteboards, digital signage, and meeting room equipment.
The Retail, Logistic and Manufacture Engineer will design, deploy and maintain specific configurations of devices (computers, tablet, smartphones, barcode scanners, printers) used in highly specialized workplace environments, such as boutiques, warehouses and manufacture sites for critical use cases directly impacting production, distribution and sales operations.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on the usage of devices at Richemont.
- Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to advise them on the usage of Richemont standard devices or the identification of new ones.
- Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities for improvement and innovation, eliciting business requirements to continuously enhance the device offering.
- Actively participate in the architectural design of the infrastructure for provisioning, managing and securing standard devices.
- Assess risks associated with the
- scale implementation of technical solutions. - Test and validate new hardware devices or new configurations to satisfy new business needs and ensure continuity of the standard through models’ lifecycle, evolution of the market and adoption of new use cases.
- Communicate about best practices, standard catalogs, technical documentation and governance for the provisioning and adoption of standard devices in the Group.
- Continuously improve the workplace technology of our boutiques, logistic centers and manufactures, with solutions tailored to the specific needs of these environments.
- Support with quality and empathy the Retail, Logistics and Manufacture landscapes treating incoming L3 Incidents (from low to high priority) respecting the established SLAs.
- Adapt to rapidly changing priorities prioritizing your backlog and focusing on the tasks that have the most impact.
- Coordinate design, communication and implementation of small projects that are limited to the Retail ecosystem.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
You have these core skills supported by relevant experience:
- Endpoint and Configuration Management. Strong knowledge of Group Policies and management of configuration profiles with any MDM (preferably Intune). Patch Management and Software Distribution.
- Windows OS Configuration and maintenance, including advanced troubleshooting techniques involving log analysis and tracing tools (ex. Procmon) for root cause analysis.
- Powershell or Python scripting for System Administration.
- Good foundational knowledge about Identity, Networking and Security concepts.
- Practical experience with Cloud services, mainly with Saa
S applications. - General understanding of VDIs provisioning in a Cloud environment (AWS, Citrix).
- Basic data analysis skills, such as combining data from multiple sources, visualization and the ability to extract valuable insights.
- Understanding of Computer specifications and performance. You have experience on a variety of makes and models and you can determine the features that can affect performance in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledge on Retail related computing use cases (POS devices, Credit Card terminals, etc. ).
- Basic principles and operations of the supply chain streams (Customer Service, Logistics, Manufacturing).
- Gathering, documenting and maintaining functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders and technical partners.
- You are fluent in English.
- Good communication skills on technical topics. You can discuss and present solutions or problem analysis, with technical and business stakeholders alike, adapting the language to the audience. This includes also the ability to write concise and precise documentation either for technical communities or for end users.
- You are curious and attracted by new technology and drive continuous improvements initiatives with your team.
These additional skills are desirable and will make you stand out
- Working knowledge of Tanium for Security, Endpoint and Configuration Management.
- Any advanced coding experience.
- Development of applications through Low Coding platforms.
- Knowledge of advanced Cloud topics, preferably on AWS.
- Experience with a tool that allows to assess devices performance (ex. Xperf, Tanium performance).
- Familiarity with benchmarking tools.
- Working experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Managing Android devices through an MDM.
- Printing Protocols (PCL & ZPL) and Servers.
- Knowledge of GK and SAP.
- Working knowledge of French.
- Create engaging presentations using standard tools (like Power
Point).
