Worldwide, the Group has key positions in its three main activities: Domestic Markets and International Financial Services (whose
- banking networks and financial services are covered by Retail Banking & Services) and Corporate & Institutional Banking, which serves two client franchises: corporate clients and institutional investors. Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management (WM) has a competences center in Lisbon named the Portugal International Markets Hub (“PIMH”). This center manages certain activities for the International Markets (“IM”) sites of BNPPWM namely Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany and Monaco.

Your Main Activities Are

1. Control data (positions/balances) between Front Office and Back Office applications.
2. Control and validate the performance of customer estimates in Front Office applications.
3. Control order flow, between Execution, Front Office and Back Office applications.
4. Support and develop end user computing tools (MS Access VBA) for operations, allowing a control on order flow and data flow.
5. Participate to the controls of the activity.
6. Coordinate various
   - functional tasks between various Operations departments (site support, error account monitoring, among others).
7. Define, produce and exploit quantitative indicators for all Operations departments (monthly) and for the sites (quarterly).
8. Guarantee a quality customer service to the various banks (quarterly indicators, regular control,
   - up of requests, among others).
9. Participate in Continuous Efficiency Improvement projects within the Operations department.
10. Ensure the operational integration of new products by coordinating analyses and their drafting.
11. Reports to Quality & Risk Management Team Leader.
12. System flow mapping.
13. Theoretical contribution for system quality improvement.
14. Rewriting of procedures.
15. Contribution to the creation of new operational control framework.
16. Provide support to the definition and implementation of new setups.
17. UAT preparation and execution.
18. Training.

Profile and Skills to Success

1. Bachelor degree in Economy, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting.
2. Experience in customer service, business support or middle office jobs.
3. Knowledge of banking activities and operations, in particular stock exchange operations, derivatives, funds, among others.
4. Ease at analysis and understanding complex processes.
5. Technical skills, to understand the IT banking systems.
6. Ability to understand and build VBA skills for simple MS Access queries and Excel macros.
7. Excellent command of Excel, Access and Business Object.
8. Fluency in English.
9. Organizational ability.
10. Customer-oriented.
11. Strong team spirit.
12. Oral and written communication.
13. Good command of digital applications.
14. Rigor and method.
15. Flexibility to deal with outstanding situations.

About the Team

The main objective of the Quality & Risk Management team is to ensure that the quality of the Operations Department's production is monitored, including activities under service, contracts with BNP Paribas entities (sites). It also supports the development of WM and product offerings. As such, your mission will consist in carrying out various
- functional controls and analyses and producing quantitative and qualitative reports. Finally, you will be involved in various projects impacting your activity, contributing to an accurate development and testing of necessary programs/applications that aims to ensure a robust system flow.
