Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

What will be your main missions?

Our (SSED) is looking for a VIE Purchasing to be based at its plant at (São João de Madeira - Portugal).

• Use and improve costing methods and cost models
• Work in a multidisciplinary team (R&D, sales, control, manufacturing, quality)
• Participate in “design to cost”
• Negotiations with suppliers
• Monthly purchasing reporting
• Represent purchases within the acquisition teams
• Provide component costings via cost models
• Consult expert suppliers
• Ensure transmission to program and commodity purchases

The mission will last (Length of 24 months).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What you need to join us?

• English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.
• Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in purchasing
• Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)
