Tasks

Your responsibilities and impact as a Travel Booking Specialist will be:

• Manage effectively all incoming queries in a customer service environment.
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Gather information from customers and ensure resolutions of queries.
• Assist the clients with upgrades, rescheduling, bookings, doubts, claims, etc.
• Converse with the clients in order to understand their needs regarding financial consideration, travel dates, destination, and travel packages.
• Booking management (altering, canceling, or creating new reservations).
• Managing the reservations
  - office (ticket issuing, modification, and cancellation of reservations).

Requirements

Skills, qualifications, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

• You have a native level of German and a good level of English – this is a must!
• You are passionate about the Travel and Tourism industry – studies or experience in this industry is a big plus.
• GDS experience is a big plus!
• You have excellent listening and communication skills.
• You are willing to learn, develop, and acquire new skills.
• You are dynamic and
  - motivated.
• You are
  - minded, a real team player, and willing to work in an international and multicultural environment.
• You have a strong work ethic and are committed to your job, ready to contribute to the success of the company and project.
• You must hold EU Citizenship or a valid work permit for Portugal.

What’s in it for you?

• Working hours: Monday to Sunday, rotating shifts 9 am to 6 pm.
• A package in line with the market: 1000€ gross/month x 14 months + 125€/month language bonus + up to 100€/month performance bonus + meal vouchers of 7. 23€/workday + reimbursement of some transportation costs + Private Health Insurance and dental plan (after six months).
• If you live outside Portugal: reimbursement (up to 400€) of the initial flight ticket after 6 months within the company + 12 months of accommodation for a monthly fee of 280€.
