Tool Management Junior Engineer
For our location in Trofa we are currently looking for a
Tool Management Junior Engineer
Your responsibilities:
- Technical coordination of the production of tools for plastic injection, die casting and stamping tools, specific from the project to series production.
- Creation/review and development of specifications, as well as evaluation and management of reviews for concepts and constructions of tools.
- Support in the development and implementation of new concepts and technologies.
- Carry out feasibility studies (DFM - Design for Manufacturing) and prepare risk assessments, as well as show and present results and proposed solutions.
- Preparation/management of project documentation, such as component lists, technical presentations and samples, in coordination with other departments.
- Support in the approval, optimization and modification of components and assemblies in accordance with change management processes.
- Monitoring the construction of new tools and changes/optimizations in coordination with other departments.
- FOT (First Out of Tool) monitoring, optimization and validation tests before and after transfer to series.
- Cooperate with other internal departments in conception and improving processes.
- Provide support in the execution of auxiliary devices for the tools (grippers, gauges and cutting devices).
- Provide technical support to members of the internal and/or external team within a project.
- Support the Lessons Learned process, FMEA, DFM, DFA, Cost Down and respective reviews.
- Analyse offers regarding technical plausibility and deriving recommendations for action to purchasing.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and in an international context.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering, 1 to 3 years in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English, knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
- Use to work with 3D and 2D design visualization software.
- FMEA, SAP, GD&T, 3D Scanning (GOM), MS Office
- Knowledge in organization and project management.
- Knowledge of mechanical construction of tools for injection of technical plastic parts and engineering materials.
- Knowledge of mechanical construction of Die Cast and stamping tools.
- Knowledge of the Thermoplastic Injection Process.
- Knowledge in design with plastic materials for the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Quality tools and standards.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Planning and organization focused on project objectives.
- Ability to make decisions, define priorities and solve problems.
