ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Technology Delivery Manager reporting to the Head of Product for Planning & Delivery, you will lead the team's success by identifying and removing impediments, ensuring teams stay on track and deliver value promptly. Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering Managers, you will translate vision into reality by providing visibility on estimation, communicating delivery targets, and managing
- department dependencies. You will lead efficient meetings and ceremonies, understand capacity management, and use forecasting techniques to maintain sustainable velocity.
Championing a delivery approach that breaks down initiatives into manageable components, you will foster rapid feedback and adaptation, excelling in complex Agile environments to deliver
- scale B2C & B2B digital change initiatives.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver Value Sooner: Coordinate business initiatives, ensure team accountability for milestones and deadlines, and resolve issues promptly to maintain progress.
- Deliver Value Visibly: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on initiative status, including benefits, progress, issues, risks, and proposed actions.
- Support the Product Development Lifecycle: Collaborate with product owners on roadmaps, lead the delivery process, remove impediments, ensure rigorous testing, and drive early value realization.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Align with Engineering, Design, Product Service Delivery, and the wider business to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding the product vision, roadmap, and delivery plan.
- Proactively Manage Risks and Issues: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, maintain regular reporting, and create contingency plans.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Maximize value by driving efficiencies in resource allocation, forecasting costs, tracking expenses, and identifying savings opportunities.
- Strive for Quality and Continuous Improvement: Ensure quality delivery, analyze performance metrics, and enhance Agile processes, including Test Automation, CI/CD, and Tech Debt removal.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE
- Delivery Management: Skilled in managing and coordinating large, complex initiatives, taking
- level ownership, and driving deliveries to meet deadlines. - Effective Communication: Able to engage both technical and
- technical team members, and effectively showcase progress to stakeholders through storytelling. - Leadership and Empowerment: Drives team success by setting expectations, coaching for growth, and creating an environment that enables achievement of desired outcomes.
- Maintaining Delivery Momentum: Detail-oriented in tracking, managing, and addressing dependencies to ensure uninterrupted delivery cadence.
- Budget and Resource Management: Proficient in budgeting principles, managing resources to deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.
- Agile and Lean Practices: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Lean practices, optimizing their application in team workflows, and proficient in Agile tools like Jira and Azure Dev
