The Role

BCA is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer to join the European Knowledge Management team based in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creating technical documentation for assigned product and business areas.
2. Document product features, translating complex information into clear,
   - quality and useful technical knowledge content (in a Product environment).
3. Work alongside internal product and technical teams to obtain an
   - depth understanding of the product and ensure the accuracy of the documentation.
4. Constant collaboration with product owners, product managers, business analysts, architects and developers to receive or provide input.
5. Manage documentations updates and revisions in our internal knowledge base.
6. Create visual content to enhance documentation.

Requirements:

1. Experience working as a technical writer, technical documentation manager, or similar role.
2. Ability to create different types of technical content (including API documentation).
3. Proven track record of scoping, planning, and delivering
   -
   - end documentation for a digital product.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Experience in content structuring.
6. Highly organized with attention to detail.
7. Analytical mindset, research, and exploration skills.
8. Proven ability to deliver quality documentation under tight deadlines.
9. Comfortable with a
   - paced and
   - driven environment, managing multiple or competing priorities.
10. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
11. Motivated/self-starter, with strong time management skills.
12. Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you will be expected to liaise with key stakeholders across the company.
13. Excellent
    - solving skills.
