Your Responsibilities:
- You coordinate and oversee our projects in Portugal, ensuring the successful development of the technical solution, including design, cost estimation, and civil engineering aspects. Your focus is on project coordination with a strong technical understanding, particularly in detecting and preventing potential challenges related to civil works, construction, roads, and environmental aspects.
- You manage resources, assign tasks, and collaborate with key teams, including construction, turbine suppliers, and Bo
P (Balance of Plant) contractors, to keep projects on track. - You serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering team, company management, external partners, and regulatory authorities, ensuring seamless communication and regulatory compliance.
- You proactively identify potential challenges related to civil works, roads, site access, and environmental conditions, working with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions and avoid costly delays or rework.
- You facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between all stakeholders, preventing misunderstandings and fostering successful project collaboration.
- You promote innovation in wind project design and execution, driving efficiency improvements, reducing costs, and optimizing performance through new technologies and strategies.
- You evaluate and integrate
- edge solutions, such as hybrid
- solar technologies and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), to enhance project outcomes and
- proof operations. - You lead continuous improvement initiatives, adapting to new technologies and strategies to ensure your team remains competitive in the rapidly evolving renewable energy industry.
Requirements:
- You have completed your bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or renewable energy disciplines and possess at least 4 years of experience in wind energy or a similar renewable energy sector.
- You are proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with experience in overseeing
- scale engineering projects from design through commissioning. - You have a strong understanding of wind turbine technology and Balance of Plant (Bo
P) systems. - You are skilled in managing budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects meet financial and operational targets.
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- You are adept at
- solving and can drive innovation to improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize performance. - You are familiar with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements for wind energy projects.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic,
- paced environment and can adapt to evolving technologies and market trends. - You are
- fluent in Portuguese. Any other languages is a plus.
