This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home up to 3 days per week.

As a Cobol Technical Expert, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with
- edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of requirements within a project, supporting IT specialists.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Monitor the quality of requirements within a project
2. Support IT specialists by gathering and sharing transversal information
3. Bring clarity and highlight the business impact of the retained solution
4. Support and adhere to Azqore Methodology and continuously contribute to improve the processes
5. Attend project daily meetings
6. Understand the requirements document and convert them into Cobol programs
7. Work with Business Analyst and Technical Leads to deliver quality product
8. Involve in support activity during various testing phases of the project
9. Strictly adhere to client’s standards, processes, quality, and security processes
10. Create test documents and execute test cases
11. Provide support to clients when doing User Acceptance Testing
12. Aid junior team members in solving technical issues and provide knowledge transfer

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

1. At least 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps), and sequential file handling
2. More than 5 years of experience in system analysis and design
3. Experience in Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tool
4. Knowledge in Unix shell scripts
5. More than 5 years of experience in conducting program unit testing and system integration testing
6. Proficiency in English (C1 level) and French (B1 level)
7. Basic knowledge of Sustainable Finance
