Job Overview

Provides first level support to Customers on workstations or for applications.

Essential Functions

1. Processes and provides first level support for technical assistance and resources from internal and/or external customers.
2. Communicates with end users to clarify and define requirements.
3. Resolves various routine problems and escalates the more complex issues to the appropriate support area for resolution.
4. Maintains call information in database using commercial software.
5. May work with monthly charge back reports.
6. May schedule configuration and installation of PC workstation hardware and software.

Qualifications

1. Computer Science degree or equivalent, or equivalent technical training.
2. One (1) year related experience or technical training.
3. Experience in Customer Service role.
4. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
5. Familiarity with mainframe, distributed, PC, LAN, or telecommunications equipment and related components to understand client's technical needs.
6. Ability to carry out some analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on routine matters.
