Job Description:
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for managing the partnership between SCM and Wholesale. It becomes the key SCM interface for business, coordinating the complete process from sales order entry to
- time delivery of all products to wholesale customers whilst ensuring a dependable, sufficient, and competitive advantage in Supply Chain management.
Moreover, the position carries the responsibility of supporting Supply Chain initiatives that yield mutual benefits, such as revenue generation and cost reduction, for both the adidas Group and its customers. By collaborating across functions, the role addresses On Time In Full (OTIF) challenges, identifies risks and opportunities, and assists in implementing mitigating actions while upholding service level agreements (SLAs).
Responsibilities:
- Manage team capacity and workload effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet operational demands while maintaining a balanced workload for team members.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager Order Fulfillment to fill vacant positions within the team, aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
- Cultivate a
- performance culture by articulating and monitoring clear expectations, setting individual targets, and empowering employees to work autonomously to fulfill the demands of their roles effectively. - Evaluate the performance and skills of team members as part of the performance appraisal process, conducting timely feedback meetings, and guiding performance improvement and talent management strategies to address any underperformance.
- Ensure adherence to adidas guidelines, policies, and all legal requirements pertaining to
- related matters, providing necessary support and guidance to team members as needed.
Functional:
- Act as first point of contact for key stakeholders and collaborate to understand priorities and address issues, risks & opportunities.
- Monitor and initiate operational improvements.
- Drive process standardization solutions across teams.
- Support orderbook conversion by evaluating speed and availability drivers and ensuring maximum stock allocation and guaranteeing
- time delivery for wholesale customers. - Investigate and rectify gaps between actual delivery performance and targeted performance, optimizing productivity levels and driving orderbook conversion.
- Ensure flawless orderbook execution, prompt issue resolution, and maintaining product availability integrity while delivering transparency to relevant stakeholders.
- Take ownership of providing transparent customer and
- centric KPIs and deliver actionable business insights to stakeholders. - Ensure service excellence across all interfaces to facilitate smooth, focused, and strategic launch processing.
- Execute on all sales orderbook related queries routed through the centralized mailbox, serving as the primary point of contact for Sales/Account, Sales Operations, and Distribution Centers.
- Monitor outbound orderbook activities, identify potential delays in delivery note creation/transfer, and implement appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure availability and
- time orderbook conversion related to seasonal peak management activities. - Guarantee orderbook compliance with established business rules and policies.
- Participate in workshops/trainings for system upgrades and support regression testing, including key user responsibilities for SAP/ Power BI testing and system functionalities.
- Service delivery by agreed SLAs.
- Take charge of creating and distributing as well as standardizing operational reports to relevant stakeholders.

- Account & Sales Operations, Sales and Finance.
- Other Supply Chain Management functions (Product Supply, Order Fulfillment, Local Customer Fulfillment, DC Ops etc. ).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong
- oriented mindset and a focus on meeting consumer/customer needs in the Supply Chain context. - Effective people management skills including the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the operations team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player within the operations team and across functional areas.
- Proficiency in analytical thinking and
- solving to address complex challenges in Supply Chain operations. - Understanding of cost considerations and their impact on sales generation within the Supply Chain process.
- Autonomous and independent working style.
- Experience in working under pressure to meet deadlines and conflicting priorities.
- Comfort with learning and utilizing internal systems and software applications specific to Supply Chain management.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power
Point). - Intermediate level of familiarity with SAP-AFS (SD module).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous in a global Supply Chain environment.
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or other relevant areas, with specialization in Commercial management and/or Industry is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in providing Supply Chain management support in the field of operations, fulfillment, or logistics, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel, or Footwear industries.
