Job Description:

The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an
- changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

We are looking for a Team Lead level frontend engineer to join our R&D team remotely! You will report directly to the VP of R&D.

What You'll Do:

1. Work with the CTO and other Tech Leaders to design and execute the rich product roadmap
2. Develop new product features and support existing ones
3. Mentor and support developers in implementing product requirements
4. Perform code review and promote FE development best practices
5. Raise the level of processes and best practices on the team to match customer growth
6. Participate in FE architecture and design decisions

What You Bring:

1. 7+ years of
   - on frontend development experience with React and Type
   Script
2. 2+ years experience with Next. js and Node. js frameworks on an
   - commerce project
3. 2+ years experience leading team of FE + BE developers
4. Proven experience leading large scale B2C
   - commerce projects (100K+ daily user sessions)
5. High proficiency in HTML/CSS and Javascript
6. Strong understanding of
   - driven design and development
7. Experience with frontend monitoring and performance measurement
8. Team player with great communication skills
9. Passionate about great designs, code quality, user experience and performance
10. Sees the big picture and detail oriented (pixel-perfect)
11. Good writing and verbal skills in English

Preferred But Not Required:

1. Experience with:
2. Server-side rendering frameworks
3. Wordpress installation, development and web site design
4. Backend development (C# / Java)
5. SEO
6. Automated browser testing of web apps
7. Real time updating dashboards
8. Mongo
   DB
