THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Tax Expert with strong knowledge of Portugal Tax. Your duties will include provide technical consultancy to individuals or companies in the scope of tax planning, tax compliance as well as the tax impacts of mobility and migration.

#ABOUTTHEJOB:

• Consult with clients and develop bespoke tax planning solutions.
• Advise clients on tax compliance and corresponding impacts.
• Advise clients on structuring operations and transactions to minimize tax liabilities.
• Provide guidance on
  - border tax matters.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.

#ABOUTTHECANDIDATE:

• English: perfect proficiency, written and spoken fluency (mandatory factor).
• Portuguese: perfect proficiency, written and spoken fluency (mandatory factor).
• Appropriate degree to the characteristics of the role.
• Minimum experience of two years as Tax Expert.
• Experience in dealing with international clients, including client facing, relationship, advisory and management.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Portuguese tax framework are key attributes for success in this position.
• Ethic and team player.
• Ambitious and energetic.
• Capable of working autonomously, even though being part of a holistic approach.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptable to CRM platforms used.
• Good to have: knowledge of international tax frameworks and international perspectives.
