We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join the infrastructure team of one of our clients — a key player in the higher education and research ecosystem in Portugal. This is a great opportunity to contribute to impactful digital services used by the academic and scientific community.
Main Responsibilities
- Support users in the adoption of Kubernetes/Rancher, virtualization (Open
Stack), and CEPH storage solutions; - Assist in the development and maintenance of user applications and technical services;
- Contribute to internal infrastructure projects and manage service requests;
- Perform
- site interventions at data centres (installations, removals, maintenance).
Requirements
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems;
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar field;
- Valuable experience with:
- Containers (Rancher/Kubernetes);
- Virtualization (Open
Stack/KVM) and CEPH storage; - Scripting (Shell script, Ansible);
- Driving license (preferred);
- Knowledge of data centre operations (preferred);
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
