42 Lisboa launched in July 2020 and already has +400 students. 42 Porto, meanwhile, opened in July 2022 and currently has around 200 students.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the responsibility of the IT Director, you will be in charge of the update and the
-
- day tasks related to the 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto technological infrastructure.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide the necessary IT environment for 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto curriculum;
• Ensure uninterrupted availability and reliability of the IT infrastructure as a whole, along with regular audits, maintenance and optimizations of its components, both hardware and software;
• Ensure uninterrupted availability and reliability of 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto online contents, such as, but not limited to the school official websites, along with regular audits, maintenance and upgrades;
• Stay
  -
  - date regarding programming, IT trends and technologies;
• Ensure reasonable Cybersecurity of 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto infrastructure;
• Ensure uninterrupted availability and reliability of the Access Control and CCTV systems in liaise with 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto Operations Manager.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software;
• Knowledge of local network infrastructure systems;
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python and C (Rust is a plus);
• Knowledge of IT automation technologies like Ansible, Terraform and Vagrant;
• Knowledge of OS virtualization like Vmware ESXi;
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of IT professional experience;
• Analytic skills and capability to develop innovative ideas;
• Fluent in Portuguese;
• High level of written and spoken English (French language as a plus);
• Experience in digital communication tools and processes (desirable);
