Job Description
As part of our sustainability team, you will play a key role in advancing circular economy initiatives and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. You will work closely with
- functional teams, analyze data, and support reporting efforts, contributing to Infineon’s leadership in sustainable raw material management.
In your new role you will:
- Contribute to the management of critical raw materials and circular economy strategies
- Research and analyze regulatory requirements related to sustainability and circular economy, providing insights for compliance and strategic planning
- Support reporting activities for example the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), ensuring compliance and transparency
- Define and analyze data sets (including dashboards) to drive
- driven sustainability solutions - Create communication materials showcasing success stories in circular economy initiatives
- Collaborate with
- functional teams to integrate sustainability into procurement, product development, and design - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in circular economy and sustainable raw material management
You are an analytical and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your ability to work with complex data, communicate insights effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams enables you to drive impactful sustainability initiatives. With strong project management skills and a passion for circular economy, you contribute to shaping sustainable solutions for the future.
You are best equipped for this position if you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in sustainable raw material management, circular economy, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of international industry sustainability standards and regulations
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e. g. , GRI, CDP) and product lifecycle assessment (LCA)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives
- Strong analytical and data management skills to develop key insights from large data sets
- Project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate training initiatives
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
