About the Opportunity

The Supply Forecasting Manager Iberia plays an important role in the Supply Chain department, supporting the Forecast & Planning team. This role involves ensuring and providing information on expected weekly volumes by berry, grower, variety, and treatment with a short and
- term scope (0-52 weeks). With this data, the business can make informed decisions to support our strategy according to Driscoll’s Mission and Vision, using Driscoll’s values. This role is within an office and field environment, requiring travel to grower sites and the ability to work in an agricultural setting while understanding field and crop conditions.

Responsibilities

Forecasting and Planning:

1. Accountable for developing and managing a robust berry supply forecasting process for Iberia, focusing mainly on the short &
   - term horizon, based on a deep understanding of berry growing practices and agricultural cycles.
2. Set up planning for regular grower visits and forecast updates on a weekly basis for the region.
3. Analyze historical data, weather patterns, and market trends to predict future supply volumes.
4. Lead one berry and be responsible for all related information, bridging regional information with Berry
   -
   - market teams.
5. Incorporate seasonal variations into the forecasting process; utilize
   - depth understanding of berry production principles to lead
   - functional teams in developing and improving forecasting processes and tools.
6. Monitor forecast accuracy and ensure continuous improvement through root cause analysis.
7. Update the reference database of the productive area for the current season and ensure the Planning model aligns with business goals by grower (Anaplan).

Cross-functional Collaboration:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with berry growers and suppliers, understanding the dynamics and impacts of key stakeholders in the berry supply chain.
2. Coordinate with growers to understand crop yields, harvest schedules, and potential supply issues.
3. Collaborate with Driscoll’s DEMEA teams within Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to optimize forecast numbers & accuracy.
4. Generate regular reports on forecast performance metrics and present findings to stakeholders, including senior management.
5. Use data analytics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency for fresh produce.

Systems & Data:

1. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the Demea systems and data for Iberia.
2. Participate in initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy.

Candidate Profile

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree with an agricultural focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Professional experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, forecasting, or a related field, focusing on fresh produce.
• Proven experience with statistical forecasting methods and software (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, etc. ).
• Experience with IBP systems, such as SAP IBP, Oracle IBP, or similar platforms.
• Experience with reporting systems such as Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Experience with Arc
  Gis platforms (Survey 123 & Atlas).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex concepts within a multinational environment.
• Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and manage information, data, and trends.
• Knowledge and experience in project management.
