Supply Chain Planning Manager, EU Central Operations - Risk and Flow
Central Operations (CO) refers to a new approach within Amazon Logistics (AMZL) to define a scalable solution to run the increasingly complex and growing last mile delivery network. CO is a key strategic initiative with a vision to transform the way AMZL executes forecasting, route planning, demand scheduling and last mile delivery.
This role focuses on optimizing last mile delivery operations and scheduling across Amazon's European network, with varying levels of responsibility. The Supply Chain Planning Manager position emphasizes strategic leadership, process development, and team building in ambiguous business environments, while the Supply Chain Planning Manager specifically oversees capacity optimization and process improvement across EU operations. The Supply Chain Planning Manager role is more tactically focused on daily operations, working with operations and planning teams to achieve key performance indicators in forecasting, capacity utilization, and process adherence. All positions require
- functional collaboration with various teams including Planning, Transportation, and Tech, while contributing to the strategic growth and efficiency of Amazon's Last Mile delivery operations.

Minimum qualifications:
- Degree Qualification or equivalent experience with planning, standard work practices, and performance metrics.
- Fluent in oral and written communication in English.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and
- solving skills. - Capable of providing direction to team members using independent judgment.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across various levels of an organization.
- Good teamwork mentality: able to build trustworthy and supportive working relationships.
- Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment.
- Relevant experience in conceptualizing and implementing operational or
- chain management improvements.
Preferred qualifications: (not required to apply for a position at Amazon)
- Advanced or master's degree
- Relevant experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through: Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
- Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Relevant experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL), MS Office Suite (Excel, Word), Tableau or Python.
