The Supply Chain & Sourcing Leader is responsible for leading and integrating

- end supply chain and sourcing functions. This senior leadership role ensures operational excellence by optimizing supply chain (production planning, purchasing, warehouse & inventory management, and customer service) and sourcing (direct and indirect materials sourcing, supplier relationship management) processes. The role is pivotal in driving cost efficiency, improving customer service levels, ensuring seamless material availability, and enhancing supply chain resilience. This position requires strong leadership skills to drive operational performance, innovation, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management
- Oversee
-
- end supply chain processes, including production planning, purchasing, customer service, warehouse and inventory management. - Ensure effective Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) to support
- time delivery and operational efficiency. - Increase inventory turnover while reducing excess & obsolete stock and mitigating supply risks.
- Establish demand planning accuracy to enable proactive inventory and production scheduling, improve site S&OP process
- Drive process improvements, implement strategies, and establish KPIs to monitor and reduce E&O
- Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and collaborate with
- functional teams to proactively address potential obsolescence risks and action plans. - Establish and maintain strong planning & purchasing processes to ensure flawless material supply.
- Identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Lead logistics and warehousing operations to ensure seamless material movement and finished goods distribution
- Ensure
- effective and sustainable transportation and logistics strategies. - Maintain strong coordination with internal teams and external partners to enhance supply chain resilience.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on supply chain strategies.
- Leverage data analytics and digital tools to enhance forecasting, demand planning, and
- making.
Sourcing & Procurement Management
- Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies across key categories (Direct Material, Indirect Materials & Services, and Capitals) to optimize cost and drive business growth.
- Implement and lead effective procurement processes, supporting RFI/RFQ/RFP execution, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.
- Lead direct and indirect material sourcing activities, including services, while guiding teams to secure the best purchase prices.
- Develop and drive supply base localization, VMI (Vendor managed inventory), and other initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to build
- term,
- driven partnerships. - Develop competitive and
- effective procurement strategies by working with stakeholders and suppliers - Drive significant cost reductions in Total Cost of Ownership while maintaining / improving product quality and supplier service levels.
- Collaborate with R&D and Program Management teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to launch.
- Execute agility in managing frequent RFQs with suppliers on short notice and tight deadlines, ensuring fast and effective supplier responses.
- Develop & execute supply network optimization, supplier rationalization.
- Partner closely with R&D/Engineering, Revenue, PM, Finance, and Operations to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and drive seamless execution.
- Implement ESG-aligned procurement strategies, ensuring environmental and social responsibility.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies, and mitigate risks through robust governance frameworks.
Leadership & Performance Management
- Provide strong leadership to supply chain and sourcing teams, fostering a
- performance culture. - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and mentor talent within the organization, ensuring skill development and succession planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Lean methodologies and process innovation.
- Drive
- functional collaboration to streamline processes and enhance agility in responding to market dynamics. - Implement change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in
-
- end Supply Chain Management role, with at least 10 years in a leadership role - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sourcing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Expertise in supplier price negotiations, material localization and VMI projects and supplier relationship management.
- Proven experience in driving
- saving initiatives and optimizing operational efficiency. - Solid experience in inventory management, planning, MRP, and material cost reductions in
- paced manufacturing environments (FMCG experience is must) - Deep knowledge of ERP processes and systems for Materials Planning and Production Planning, in multiple models notably ‘Build to Stock’, ‘Make to Order’, and ‘owned products’.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in written and oral English.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong people development and coaching skills to bring up the team
