We currently are selecting for a project in automotive sector located in Coimbra (Portugal) a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE):

Functions

1. Provide proper assessment in new supplier plant in accordance with new supplier assessment.
2. Manage the industrialization of parts during the development phase and ensure the consistency of deliverables requested by suppliers during the development phase.
3. Contribute to the qualification of the product and process for designated parts or suppliers.
4. Measure production capacity by suppliers according to data provided.
5. Implement preventive and corrective actions to improve the strength of suppliers' industrial performance.
6. Ensure industrial performance and manage continuous improvement in mass production.
7. During important quality events, lead the action plan.
8. Carry out periodic audits of risky suppliers.

Requirements

1. Have a degree in mechanical, industrial or related engineering.
2. Have five years of work experience as a quality technician or with related functions.
3. Have previous experience in the automotive sector of at least two years.
4. Have strong knowledge in PFMEA, APQP and PPAP.
5. Have previous experience using 8D methodology.
6. English minimum level B2+.
7. Portuguese minimum B2.
