Scope of the job:

To guarantee the smooth running of the
- factory by coordinating and supervising the work carried out and continuously seeking improvements, in order to ensure that the objectives relating to
- time deliveries with quality, productivity and an appropriate cost level are met, to guarantee MAHLE's competitiveness.

Description:

• Manage material and human resources by defining production priorities and coordinating and supervising process activities in order to ensure that the defined goals and objectives are achieved;
• Managing the daily scheduling of the cells, negotiating with Production Planning and the Logistics Department in order to guarantee the delivery of the Ring Production Orders on the agreed dates;
• Optimizing the resources at their disposal in order to guarantee timely production, taking into account customer requests and the need to stop machines, in order to guarantee their state of repair at all times;
• Collaborating and liaising with the organization's different departments in order to manage production, orders, quality, present results and define action plans;
• Monitoring, guiding and evaluating the professional development of its employees, taking and proposing appropriate measures, particularly in terms of training, retraining and promotion.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role;
• Portuguese and English - essential;
• Knowledge of automation, electrotechnics, mechanics, electrochemical coatings and Computer Numerical Control (preferred);
• Ability to lead and manage problems.
