Strategy and Reporting Manager

Country: Portugal

We are recruiting a manager for the Strategy and Reporting area within the Collections & Recoveries department:

Mission:

Responsible for carrying out quantitative and qualitative analyzes of the portfolios under management, to provide accurate and concise data, for the development, maintenance and improvement of policies, strategies, MIS reports, processes, and procedures within its role, as well as carrying out recommendations to your management, using advanced tools and techniques.

Function:

1. Create portfolio segmentation based on customer default risk for efficient treatment;
2. Monitor the portfolio to identify patterns of entry of defaulting customers based on the characteristics of the portfolio;
3. Develop management reports and analyzes to review and monitor the portfolio;
4. Perform data analysis in order to identify early warning signs (productivity, efficiency and effectiveness) and proactively provide feedback to take corrective actions;
5. Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of processes with business impact;
6. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve customer experience, processes, policies, and budget;
7. Provide accurate and concise results, presenting opportunities and recommendations for the business;
8. Identify new ways and tools to develop the collections/recovery team, contributing to its evolution and improving its performance;
9. Effectively monitor team partners in order to promote development in technical analysis tools and risk management skills and knowledge about the business and processes;
10. Carry out annual and quarterly review of the strategic and budgetary plan;
11. Ensure that the Collections and Recovery area can support the business based on the latest market trends.

Profile:

1. Degree in Banking Management, Business Management, Economics or Mathematics (preferred);
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
3. Experience with tools such as SAS, SQL and other analysis tools;
4. Strong analytical, technical, and statistical knowledge. Ability to synthesize/analyze diverse information, develop recommendations and make decisions;
5. Ability to analyze and understand the root of problems and difficulties;
6. Experience in project management (preferred);
7. Ability to manage and prioritize projects in multifunctional groups;
8. Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services;
9. Spirit of initiative and dynamism;
10. Ability to reconcile priorities and solve problems;
11. Good interpersonal relationships and I like working in a team;
12. Proactive attitude in managing the risks inherent to
