To support our growth, we are looking for a: Start-Up Engineer

In this role, you will play a critical part in the commissioning and optimization of water treatment plants worldwide. Your expertise will ensure the smooth
- up and performance of Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ion Exchange (IEX), Activated Carbon Filtration (ACF), and other advanced treatment systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the
  - up and commissioning of water treatment plants, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet design specifications.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation of membrane technologies (UF, RO, IEX, ACF, etc. ).
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to optimize plant performance and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with SCADA and automation teams to ensure seamless integration and monitoring of water treatment processes.
• Provide
  - site training for plant operators and
  - users on system operation and maintenance.
• Document all commissioning activities, including testing reports, operational manuals, and best practices.
• Travel internationally (40-50% of the time, with assignments of up to 2 months) to various project sites for plant
  - up and optimization. Possibility of spending the first 6-12 months in Dublin.

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience in water treatment technologies such as UF, RO, and IEX is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of membrane filtration systems and water purification processes.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial water treatment plants is a plus.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial automation is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work internationally for extended periods.
