We are seeking a skilled SRE to scale and optimise our infrastructure, integrate SRE best practices to accelerate time to market, and ensure reliable, scalable, and secure operations.

Experience & Domain Knowledge:

• Expertise in design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available, scalable systems
• Expertise in automation deployments, infrastructure provisioning and reducing toil
• Proficiency in implementing monitoring and alerting systems to ensure service availability and performance
• Handling incidents, troubleshooting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation measures
• Planning for scalability and capacity needs, optimising resource utilisation, and improving system performance
• Ensuring systems meet security standards and compliance requirements, mitigating risks and vulnerabilities
• Participate in
  - call rotations ensuring system availability
• Collaboration and participation in the product life cycle, working closely with our product and development teams to integrate SRE best practices in a
  - paced environment to ensure alignment with business goals
• Strong sense of ownership for systems and service reliability.

Technical skills:

• 3+ years in an SRE or related role in a
  - availability environment
• Advanced understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
• Experience with Linux, including server setup, package deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and security
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs)
• Advanced knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Bash) and experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Pager
  Duty and ELK Stack for monitoring and observability
• Understanding of Dev
  Ops principles, CI/CD pipelines, and the importance of building APIs and
  - service tools for development teams.
• Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)

Soft skills:

• Communication: Effective communication skills, especially with teams responsible for security, operations and product
• Analytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert it to the task
• Adaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust to quick technological shifts and evolving business requirements
• Ownership and Accountability: Readiness to take ownership of tasks, issues as well as demonstrate accountability of the results and outcome

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with fintech regulations and industry standards (e. g. , GDPR, PCI DSS)
• Experience in Financial Technology sector
