Responsibilities:

• Optimize and
  - tune Postgre
  SQL database performance to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to write and optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and data models for maximum performance.
• Implement and maintain database replication, clustering, and
  - availability configurations for Postgre
  SQL.
• Design and apply effective indexing strategies to improve query performance while managing storage requirements.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across databases, queries, and infrastructure components.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Postgre
  SQL databases.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of
  - on experience with Postgre
  SQL, including performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Postgre
  SQL internals, including indexing, query planning, and execution.
• Experience with Postgre
  SQL performance tools like EXPLAIN, pg_stat_statements, pg
  Badger, and other diagnostic utilities.
• Proven ability to optimize complex SQL queries, improve indexing strategies, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation and monitoring tasks are a plus!
• Strong
  - solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with
  - functional teams.
