We are looking for an SQL Database Administrator!

Responsibilities:

1. Database Migration Planning: Collaborate with customer to understand requirements, analyze existing database environments, and develop comprehensive migration strategies.
2. Migration Execution: Perform data migration tasks, including schema conversion, data transformation, and data loading. Ensure seamless migration with minimal disruption to operations.
3. Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance before, during, and after the migration. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
4. Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data during migration. Conduct
   - migration validation to ensure data integrity.
5. Database Upgrades: Plan and execute database upgrades as part of the migration process, ensuring compatibility and stability of applications.

Requirements:

1. Professional experience as Database Administrator.
2. Experience and knowledge of different SQL Server versions.
3. Familiarity with tools of Ola Hallengren.
4. Understanding of index management: Reorganize versus rebuild indexes.
5. Knowledge of statistics and update statistics, backup/restore possibilities within SQL Server.
6. Understanding of Recovery Model of a database and the impact on backups and log files.
7. Familiarity with system databases and their usage.
8. Knowledge of SQL Agent: how it works, how to configure it, and its possibilities.
9. Understanding of TDE (Transparent Database Encryption).
10. Security knowledge: default Server roles, default database roles, and application roles.
11. Basic knowledge of
    - availability solutions such as clustering, always on, mirroring, and
    - shipping.
12. SQL development skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, scalar/table valued functions, error handling, common table expressions, and join types.
13. Understanding of transactions: commit and rollback, nested transactions.
14. Knowledge of foreign keys, unique index versus primary key, and data types and their importance.
15. Certificates and signed objects in security.
16. Understanding of indexes: clustered,
    - clustered, covered index, filtered index.
17. Familiarity with In-memory OLTP: tables and native stored procedures and functions.
18. Understanding of indexed views: pros and cons, execution plans, and query store.
19. Good level of English.
