Your new role:

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server and Postgre
  SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Implement security measures, monitor performance, apply patches/versions, and ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in database design, schema development, and query optimization while troubleshooting and resolving
  - related issues.
• Maintain database security, including encryption (data-at-rest and
  - transit), audit activity, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

What you will need to succeed:

• 2-3 years of experience in database administration (SQL Server, Postgre
  SQL) with
  - on expertise in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proficient in monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying patches/versions to ensure optimal operation and security.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS), data encryption, security policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance (Plus)
• Strong ability to assist in database design, query optimization, and collaborating with development teams to support database needs.
