We are looking for a Senior Spring (Java) Developer

MAIN TASKS:

• Design, develop, maintain, and implement scalable and
  - performance web applications using software craftsmanship principles (test-driven development,
  - fast approach, continuous delivery, agile methodologies, etc. )
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of
  - end and
  - end components
• Participate in project
  - up meetings and Agile ceremonies (sprints, reviews, retrospectives, planning poker)
• Work closely with international teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs and project milestones
• Set clear, achievable goals for each sprint, ensuring accountability for meeting those goals
• Collaborate with project managers and tech leads to monitor progress and manage tasks effectively
• Provide guidance and support to other developers, fostering a collaborative and
  - oriented team environment
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Backend Development: Java, Spring/Spring Boot
• Database: Oracle
• APIs and Web Services: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, Open
  API/Swagger
• Dev
  Ops and Continuous Improvement Tools: Jenkins, Git, test automation tools
• Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Open
  Shift or similar platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Architecture: Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Methodology: Agile/Scrum
• Experience: Proven experience in
  - scale projects, particularly in the financial services or trade finance domain
• Bonus Knowledge: Micro-frontend architecture
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: +5 years of experience in Java (Spring Boot).
• Proven experience in developing complex web applications, preferably within the financial services or trade finance domain.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role, guiding teams in
  - paced environments.
• Hybrid role in Porto!
