What will you do?

• Speech Modelling (ASR / TTS / VAD / Text Normalization) for internal products, as well as external ones partnering with big players in the voice market.
• Apply your knowledge in Speech Processing to solve and productize challenging problems in a conversational AI context.
• Design, implement and optimize speech services on our internal platform.
• Work alongside Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers and Dev
  Ops to create and scale cutting edge speech libraries, tools, models and products.
• Work with other team members (Product Team and Linguists) in designing, testing and implementing solutions supporting up to 40 Languages.
• Write source code with tests to help make new speech tools.
• Carry out structured, concise and reproducible data analysis that generates insights on different types of data.

Requirements

• Background in Computational Linguistics, Speech and Language Technology, or related.
• Software development experience, preferably in Python, working on packaging code into libraries.
• Prior experience with toolkits such as Kaldi, HTK, Attila, HTS, Tensor
  Flow, Pytorch, Speech
  Brain, Hugging
  Face, Ne
  Mo, Tacotron, or similar.
• Experience of Bash scripting, to make speech pipelines.

Nice to haves:

• Portuguese native speaking.
• Python data science libraries like Num
  Py and Pandas.
• Worked in a team with an Agile methodology.
• Versioning systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge in one of these: Data Science, Machine Learning, Conversational AI (e. g. , Rasa framework), Software development, Dev
  Ops.
