This position carries high importance and impact, as you will be crucial to both development and team guidance.

Responsibilities

You will report to the module design owner of the Turbine Control Software module as part of the Technical Management team, and will be responsible for:

1. Set the
   - level direction and guide the Advanced Sensing and Diagnostics (ASD) software team to develop and deliver
   - quality software solutions.
2. Responsible for the involvement of all relevant stakeholders across the entire Value Chain to ensure the delivery of the needed solutions including documentation for the ASD
   - module.
3. Supporting and providing input to the ASD roadmap.
4. Overseeing the full
   - cycle of the ASD functional area from a Software perspective, including quality, overview of support, service feedback, fleet performance and technical debt.
5. Maintain an
   - depth understanding of the technical domains and architecture within the ASD submodule.
6. Have a clear understanding of the constraints and boundaries of the ASD
   - module to optimize work and maximize reusability across wind turbine platforms.
7. Champion a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
8. Guide, mentor, and develop the ASD team to promote a collaborative and
   - performance team culture.

Qualifications

1. A Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Control Engineering or similar.
2. At least 7 years of experience in embedded software delivery development.
3. A physical or data analytical background, which enables you to understand turbine physics easily and process large sets of data efficiently.
4. Experience guiding teams toward technical deliverables.
5. Effective communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
6. Innovative,
   - focused and responsible.
7. Proficient in C++ coding.
8. Familiar with Bitbucket, Jira and other Atlassian tools is beneficial.
9. Basic understanding and experience in Agile software development framework.
10. Experience with multicultural or
    - site development teams is beneficial.
11. Experience with Matlab/Simulink would be beneficial.
12. A continuous improvement mindset, creatively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
13. Ability to build trust with colleagues and engage stakeholders.
14. Motivated by progress and by getting things done.
15. Open-minded and attracted by an international environment.
16. Good management and motivational skills.
