We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join the Pestana Team @Pestana Palácio do Freixo.

The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese hotel group with more than 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents.

The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Executive Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
2. Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
3. Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
4. Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of culinary or kitchen experience
2. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
3. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
