The role

We are seeking a Software Security Engineer to help improve the security of our software and platforms. In this role, you will report to the Software Security Engineering Manager and collaborate with a team of skilled security engineers. You will contribute to securing our development ecosystem by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and guiding teams on best practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in software development with a strong focus on security principles and practices with strong
- solving skills and the ability to work
- functionally to achieve security objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Contribute to efforts focused on improving the security of software and platforms by identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
2. Support the effective operation and reliability of security solutions across software and platform environments.
3. Assist the ongoing maturity and optimization of vulnerability management processes to reduce risk and improve security posture.
4. Help integrate and operate security tools within the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
5. Perform other tasks as needed to support the team’s security objectives.

What You’ll Bring

1. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and
   - based infrastructure, such as AWS.
2. Experience in software development is a plus (e. g. , Python, Java
   Script, or Java).
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and contribute to the success of the product lifecycle.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
5. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, particularly concerning technical risks, issues, and constraints.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Portuguese).
