Our client is a company in the health sector and they are looking to hire a Software Engineer.

Responsabilidades Chave

Develop and optimize our

Commerce platform using Perl, PHP, and complementary technologies.

Architect and implement new features, improve performance, and enhance security.

Work with and integrate
- party APIs, payment gateways, and logistics automation.

Improve database performance (Postgre
SQL) and caching mechanisms.

Maintain high coding standards and documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.

Competências

- Strong experience with PHP or Perl (most of our codebase is on Perl, yet we’re open for candidates without prior Perl experience who are willing to learn Perl).

- Knowledge of modern web development (HTML, CSS, Java
Script, AJAX).

- Experience with relational databases (Postgre
SQL, My
SQL, or similar).

- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web integrations.

- Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.

- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Experience with e
Commerce platforms, payment processing, or logistics is a plus.
