Squarespace is looking for an i
OS Software Engineer to join our small, distributed mobile engineering team and work on Bio Sites, an app with millions of active users around the globe. Bio Sites is Squarespace's link in biography product that enables creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses to share their entire worlds in just one link.

Our mobile team collaborates across platforms to deliver a terrific experience for Squarespace users when they're away from the desktop. You will work on the
-
- end development of an i
OS application and the
- term vision of Squarespace on mobile devices.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and be based in Aveiro, Portugal, with 3 flexible days per week spent in the office.

You'll Get To…

• Translate requirements into
  - engineered solutions including new feature development, UI creation, debugging, and data modeling.
• Work with a team of distributed engineers including our
  - side engineering team.
• Collaborate with team members representing product, design, web development, and product marketing.
• Develop applications with awareness of multiple software and hardware versions.
• Provide documentation of bug fixes during the test cycle.
• Inspire and mentor software engineers with different levels of experience.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience with Swift and creating native i
  OS apps, with apps in the store to show.
• Understanding of i
  OS UI/UX best practices, with a bias toward beautiful user experience and
  - perfect UIs.
• Understanding of tradeoffs of different architectures such as MVP and MVVM.
• Experience writing efficient and maintainable code.
• Experience with memory management, network programming, concurrency, and
  - threading.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
