Overview

We are looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our

Note: This role is 100% remote, and you can be based anywhere within the GMT time zone. However, you must be eligible for employment in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborative Solution Delivery: Collaborate seamlessly with
   - functional teams to collectively define, design, and deliver
   - quality software solutions.
2. Software Feature Development: Take charge of developing and implementing complex software features and components, contributing to the overall functionality of the system.
3. Architectural Contribution: Proactively contribute to the architectural decisions and evolution of the software platform, ensuring its robustness and scalability.
4. Technical Issue Resolution: Investigate and efficiently resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to maintain a smooth software development process.
5. Process Improvement: Actively participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of software development processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and productivity.
6. Industry Trends Incorporation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, and adeptly incorporate relevant technologies into our software development processes.

Qualifications

1. Academic Background: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience: Demonstrate proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Software Development Expertise: Have a good understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
4. Ruby and Ruby on Rails Proficiency: Bring at least 2 years of professional experience working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, showcasing understanding of this framework.
5. Backend Development Skills: Demonstrate solid experience in backend development, familiarity with API design, and a working knowledge of various database systems.
6. Front-End Technology Familiarity: Have familiarity with at least one
   - end technology and framework, such as React or Angular.
7. Problem-Solving Abilities: Showcase excellent
   - solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
8. Version Control Proficiency: Possess a strong grasp of Git and Github for efficient version control.
9. Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills essential for effective teamwork.

    S/Enterprise Software Experience: Bring valuable experience in Saa
    S/Enterprise software, providing an added advantage.
11. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication within the team and project.
