SOFTWARE ENGINEER– CLOUD & CI/CD SPECIALIST (HYBRID)

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in Cloud platforms (GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the quality, performance, and security of critical applications. This role involves technical leadership, software design, and infrastructure optimization, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and technical debt management. The position is hybrid, based in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Guarantee the technical quality of all software deliveries.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain
  - performance applications.
• Ensure applications meet the required SLAs and business performance standards.
• Maintain deep knowledge of application architecture, infrastructure, and functionality.
• Implement CI/CD automation for continuous integration and delivery.
• Identify and manage technical debt, collaborating with the Product Owner to define priorities.
• Drive the technical evolution of the application, ensuring scalability and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with Security, Development, Architecture, and Business Continuity policies.
• Align with Platform Experts and Solution Architects to implement best practices.
• Keep technical documentation up to date, including CMDB (Service
  Now).
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource consumption.
• Define and implement monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure application reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in software development and
  - based solutions.
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in collaborative, global teams.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in designing complex and scalable software solutions.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR compliance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
