The Customer Reviews team shapes products and technology used daily by millions of people around the world. The team is responsible for many central Amazon experiences including Customer Reviews and Questions and Answers.

We are looking for an engineering manager who has experience in leading the development of state of the art software systems. You will have the opportunity to work with frontier technologies, such as ML/AI, on innovative and sophisticated features that customers love. - cultural environment of the Amazon Development Center in Barcelona and Berlin.
Key Job Responsibilities
As a Software Development Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Contributing and reviewing the product roadmap.
- Defining the team's charter.
- Driving the software development process.
- Setting individual goals for the developers.
- Working on their career development.
- Managing their performance.
- Keeping them engaged with exciting development tasks.
Together with the engineers, you will be responsible for delivering
- ready code that will be used by hundreds of millions of Amazon customers. You will own the

- end customer experience of Customer Reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
- Experience in leading the definition and development of
- tier web services. - Experience managing engineers.
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
- Experience in engineering.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective.
