This is a
- disciplinary position in a team responsible for the
- wide
- native CI/CD platform.

The role will involve learning new software technologies and methodologies related to
- native infrastructure, gen
AI, and quickly turning that around into working
-
- concept (POC) and production software.

The role will involve architecting, software development, testing, automation, and documentation.

You will contribute to a team developing a
- native,
- based Dev
Sec
Ops platform.

You will manage and enhance existing software automation solutions, and migrate them to the new
- native solution.

You will interact with many other teams, learning about multiple build processes, tools, and leverage that learning to create a cohesive,
- wide solution.

The role is an excellent opportunity to learn about and develop a
- native infrastructure from the ground up, with high visibility and a

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
2. Proficient with Golang, Python, Groovy Node. js programming languages.
3. Atlassian tools: Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket (git version control).
4. Cloud technologies: Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS.
5. REST API.
6. Static-analysis tools such as Sonar
   Qube, Coverity, Blackduck.
7. Automation with Jenkins and Azure Dev
   Ops.
8. Artifact management using Artifactory.
9. Metrics-collection using Open Telemetry (OTel).
10. Docker and Kubernetes.
11. Experience with Maven build tools.
12. Cloud-oriented software solutions such as Istio, Envoy, Argo
    CD, Keptn, Spinnaker.
13. Proficiency in git, docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Jenkins, OTel.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Proficient with Java, Go, Python.
2. Experience with Bitbucket
   - based SCM.
3. Experience with
   - native technology and
   - cloud deployment.
4. Experience with security for deployment and analysis from a Dev
   Sec
   Ops perspective.

Java Development Skills:

1. Proficiency in Java: Knowledge of core Java concepts such as
   - oriented programming, exception handling, and generics is crucial.
2. Frameworks: Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Struts can be beneficial.
3. Databases: Understanding of SQL databases, JPA, and Hibernate for managing data.
4. Testing: Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, such as JUnit and Mockito.
5. Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
6. Code quality: Experience with Sonar
   Qube static analysis.

DWDM Specific Skills:

1. Understanding of DWDM Technology: Knowledge of how DWDM works, including concepts like wavelength, frequency, optical networking, etc.
2. Network Management: Experience with network management protocols like SNMP or Net
   Conf.
3. Telecommunication Standards: Familiarity with telecommunication standards like ITU-T G. 694. 1 and ITU-TG. 805 that are related to DWDM.
4. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common issues in DWDM systems.
