IS). Central to this effort is the indispensable regional
- based Customer Relationship Management application known as ADMS.

Job Description

In a nutshell

The primary goal of this position is to become an integral part of the ADMS Development Team based in Dublin, comprising five local members in addition to offshore team members. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in driving both technical advancements and functional enhancements.

The ADMS Development Team operates at the forefront of technology, leveraging robust modelling techniques such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Unified Modelling Language (UML), alongside
- edge tools and frameworks including C#, . NET, MS SQL Server, and Angular. We follow Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration patterns, with expertise in REST and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) implementations. Adhering to Agile / Dev
Ops methodologies, Quality Assurance is paramount, supported by a rigorous test strategy encompassing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), while harnessing the power of Platform as a Service (Paa
S) and Dev
Ops technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Dev
Ops, and Octopus for efficient deployment and management of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as an experienced Software Engineer in Tests, initially within a Scrum team of 5 collocated developers and 2 offshore QAs.
2. Contribute to the tests (acceptance, deployment, performance), build, and troubleshooting of selected functional and
   - functional requirements for the target software applications and services.
3. Adhere to Agile/Scrum values and principles, particularly by participating in team meetings (stand-ups, backlog refinement, acceptance criteria refinement) and performing incremental testing of the application.
4. Bring the Quality Assurance perspective to requirements, ensuring both functional and
   - functional acceptance criteria are met, with particular attention to corner cases, boundary cases, performance, and basic security.
5. Follow continuous delivery principles, ensuring the quality and automation of ADMS test suites for both acceptance and deployment testing. Ensure automated tests are systematically executed as part of the CI/CD pipeline at acceptance and deployment stages.
6. Adhere to test strategies and test plans to ensure
   - quality product delivery, challenging them when necessary.
7. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, development managers, and business analysts to achieve comprehensive test coverage and quality.
8. Leverage strong communication skills, team spirit, and a collaborative mindset to act as a bridge between business analysts, QA engineers, and developers.

Other Assignments

1. Ensure
   - up to the Team Manager on a regular basis and as often as requested.
2. Acquire rapidly a working knowledge of Eurofins Eur
   IS systems, starting with ADMS, underlying concepts and models, as well as the processes and practices of the team.
3. Deepen that knowledge on a continuous basis, guided by the most pressing needs of assigned functions.
4. Develop appropriate working relationships with IT and
   - IT target groups in Eurofins.

Required Skills And Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Over 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on both automated and manual testing.
3. Comprehensive understanding of various types of testing and their purposes, including acceptance, sanity, exploratory, and more.
4. Solid grasp of software applications at both functional and technical levels, with the ability to challenge and extend acceptance criteria, including consideration of corner, edge, and boundary cases.
5. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Dev
   Ops practices for seamless integration of testing into the development process.
6. Initial experience with BDD tools such as Spec
   Flow/Reqnroll, JBehave, or Cucumber. js for writing test cases in a given/when/then format.
7. Proficiency in automation using
   - oriented languages (such as Java, C#) as well as scripting languages like Power
   Shell, Shell, or Bash for automating tasks and writing test scripts.
8. Understanding of web service patterns (REST) and ESB patterns (queues), along with the knowledge of how to test them with automation.
9. Experience with UI automation testing using tools like Selenium or Java
   Script frameworks such as Webdriver. io.
10. Proficiency in debugging code and troubleshooting issues across various layers of the application stack. Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects and performance issues.
11. Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple countries.

Preferred Skills And Experience

1. Experience of testing Backend developed with Domain centric approach (DDD)
2. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Azure Devops Pipelines, Jenkins. . .
3. Experience in automation with web frontend language (Java
   Script or Type
   Script)
4. Understanding of manual testing principles and techniques, particularly exploratory testing to complement automated testing.
5. Experience with tools like JMeter, Load
   Runner, or Gatling for performance, load, and stress testing. Ability to analyse performance test results and identify bottlenecks.
6. Experience working with relational of Database and average knowledge of SQL (ability to query the DB)
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
