Responsibilities

At STARK we have embarked on a digital journey and with our established development teams, we involve our entire value chain from sourcing to sales and every IT system that helps serve our customers better. We therefore require Software Developers to help build the applications and platforms upon which we build the rest of our new IT landscape. Our development teams have a big responsibility at STARK IT and are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing original software solutions for our business applications including data produced within their own product domain as well as interfaces towards other applications both upstream and downstream.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Contribute to the development and implementation of standards that ensure
   - quality software.
2. Collaborate with other development teams to support the overall direction of STARK IT and the IT landscape.
3. Work with Senior Software Developers on
   - term technical roadmaps to balance our need to move fast in the market while maintaining stability on our technical platforms.
4. Participate in internal and external networks to stay at the forefront of technology and share insights with your colleagues.
5. Coach internal junior colleagues on best practices in software development, teamwork, estimation, technology selection, and QA.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

Must have Skills:

• Experience with frontend React framework

Nice to have skills:

1. Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev
   Ops
2. Microsoft Azure
3. Docker
4. Postgres database
5. Kubernetes
6. Kafka
7. JUnit testing Framework

Other Requirements:

1. Experience working in a software development environment with many dependencies towards other teams and stakeholders.
2. Experience with writing, understanding, and translating
   - level acceptance criteria into technical designs.
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically determine solutions.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education

BSc/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills.
