We have 350 employees in Paris and Lyon. As part of our international development, we are looking for a Backend Software Developer for our new office in Lisbon.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

At Bedrock, we're looking for a Backend developer with a strong understanding of data management and processing. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that make data calculated by our data science teams accessible to the rest of the organization.

As an API Data Engineer, you'll:

1. Create, test and maintain APIs for Data products
2. Participate in code architecture discussions
3. Force of proposal for the improvement and stabilization on existing code and tools

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1. 3 years of experience in creating APIs, preferably Python, but also Go, PHP, Rust
2. Comfortable with cloud tools (AWS in particular)

Optional skills:

1. Notions of Infra as Code (Terraform)
2. Dev
   Ops appetite (kubernetes, haproxy, monitoring)
3. Good knowledge of SQL and databases in general
4. Streaming and events (Kafka, Kinesis, . . . )

You also have:

1. Ability to work in a team
2. Eye for detail and curiosity
3. Ability to respond to requests from outside the team
