Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect to join Nokia Business Applications AI as a Service team, in Portugal.

If you join us, you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering skills, your deep knowledge and experience defining the overall architecture, technical standards and best practices for our containerized solutions.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

1. Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure containerized applications.
2. Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural alignment and best practices.
3. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
4. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance of containerized applications.
5. Lead and mentor development teams in the adoption of container technologies and practices.
6. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in container technologies and incorporate them into the architectural strategy.
8. Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all containerized applications.

Key Skills And Experience

1. Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration platforms.
2. Event Processing: knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark.
3. Cloud Platforms: experience deploying/managing containerized applications with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
4. Microservices Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
5. CI/CD Pipelines: experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins and Git
   Lab.
6. Programming Languages: proficiency in programming languages Java and Python.
7. Networking: networking concepts in containerized environment, such as:
1. Load balancing.
2. Service discovery.
3. Network security.
8. Monitoring and Logging: experience with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
9. Security: knowledge of container security best practices, such as image scanning, runtime security, and compliance.
10. Technology, engineering or related University Degree or student (MSc or BSc).
11. Knowledge of Agile and continuous delivery methodologies (Dev
    Ops).
12. Ability to manage ambiguity.
13. Self-driven and creative.
14. Fluent spoken and written English.
15. Strong
    - solving skills.
