Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support across all environments, including incident resolution, change requests, maintenance, and
- call duties. - Deliver Level 3 support for IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the stability of applications and systems by setting up relevant monitoring metrics and resilient architecture.
- Drive technical projects in collaboration with infrastructure and development teams, including leading meetings and planning sessions.
- Offer technical architecture and support for business projects.
- Enhance tools and procedures through scripting (shell, Power
Shell) and developing test scenarios. - Ensure secure architecture compliance with company standards and SLAs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on changes and technical operations (e. g. , electrical shutdowns, server moves).
- Manage change processes, including the production of new application versions and infrastructure changes.
- Oversee the commissioning of new application versions in collaboration with development and technical teams.
- Participate in the resolution of production incidents and contribute to problem management.
- Draft and update operational instructions.
- Document application components and operations, including software and technical architecture, procedures, and supervision needs.
- Manage backup data and conduct regular restoration tests.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure with efficient alerting systems to guarantee SLA compliance.
- Control load capacity for applications and adapt infrastructure resources as needed.
- Guarantee Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) effectiveness through biannual testing of various scenarios.
- Define technical architecture for new applications in collaboration with development teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Linux IT projects.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments (Windows Server experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, Python).
- Solid understanding of web servers and experience with migrations (e. g. , from Web
Sphere to JBoss). - Good knowledge of security practices, including SSL certificates, reverse proxy, and load balancing.
- General knowledge of scheduler tools (Control-M, VTOM).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience with deployment tools (GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Open
Shift, Docker).
