Here you will work in the development of
- tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to work on this remote or hybrid project in Lisbon or Porto.

This person will help build, support, and manage the activities towards the best practices implementation, in the following main areas:

1. Cloud Dev
   Ops (preferably Google Cloud)
2. System Reliability
3. CI/CD pipelines (development and maintenance)
4. Observability
5. Operations Automation
6. Environment Security

As a part of your job, you will:

1. Participate in the solution definition to ensure its operability
2. Ensure the
   -
   - end solution resilience
3. Collaborate in the definition of performance tests
4. Participate in the definition of resilience tests
5. Monitor KPI’s & logging efficiency to introduce new tools towards a more reliable solution
6. Work with developers during the software development lifecycle to ensure that developed services are operationalized
7. Ensure the solution observability
8. Define monitoring requirements (e. g. log types)
9. Implement performance metrics and business KPI's
10. Implement CI/CD best practices and ensure its evolution and maintenance
11. Work with stakeholders to fully understand and communicate the Root Cause Analysis and implement the lessons learnt
12. Drive initiatives to make the solution (and all its components) more reliable – that is, less prone to cause support tickets

What are we looking for?

1. Experience working in Dev
   Ops culture and its tools
2. Experience in application reliability practices for client (internal and client) facing experiences
3. Cloud (preferably GCP)
4. Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is relevant
5. CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Git
   Lab CI)
6. Automation tooling (e. g. Terraform, Ansible)
7. Observability tooling (e. g. ELK stack)
8. Source Code Management (Git Lab)

Soft Skills

1. Speak English fluently
2. Experience managing internal and external stakeholders’ expectations
3. Experience working with development teams and operational support teams
4. Cultivate curiosity and thirst for learning
5. Believe in the collective: teams and groups

Nice to have:

1. JIRA, Confluence
2. Agile certifications
3. Cloud certifications
4. At least 3 years of experience working on large scale, multiple agile team projects
