Our Vision for this role

In your new role as Site Reliability Engineer , you will support us right in the heart of our Saa
S, as an integral member of the Site Reliability Engineering team. You will be responsible for the Contentserv product 24/7, working in close relations with our software developers and infrastructure engineers, but also with our security and QA colleagues.

Your current tasks with the opportunity to grow – What will your life at Contentserv look like?

In your everyday work you have a diverse range of tasks with lots of space for development:

• Develop, maintain, and support our own docker containers
• Own the product deployment and upgrade process end to end
• Support and troubleshoot all running
  - facing systems
• Work 50% of your time with our software developers, ensuring
  - needed production improvements get defined, explained, worked on, rolled out
• Continuously helping to improve both our product and the infrastructure underneath, with little to no guidance
• Define reliability metrics and ensure they are kept by all the systems you oversee
• 24/7 On-Call

Your profile – What do you need to fit in?

• You have a
  - standing love affair with Linux, configuration management tools
• You have good knowledge over a multitude of technologies (from Linux Kernel and Load Balancing to PHP, AWS S3, from container orchestration to My
  SQL/Maria
  DB and Elasticsearch)
• Strong troubleshooting, paired with constructive
  - solving skills
• You have a passion to automate all manual tasks, so you can speak Bash and one of PHP or Python
• Kubernetes and Docker are not just buzzwords for you
• BASH and one of Python or Golang are well known to you
• GIT / merge conflicts / feature branches / merge requests / continuous integration are part of your known tools
• Business-Level English
