ServiceNow System Senior Administrator
Job Description
Purpose
The person in this role will serve as the main point of contact for support, administration, and maintenance of the Service
Now platform and associated applications.
Responsibilities
The Service
Now System Senior Administrator will work with a team to manage the configuration and maintenance of a Service
Now system in a
- paced agile project environment.
- Perform

- day support, administration, and maintenance of the Service
Now platform. - Work directly with the Service
Now Admin Team to resolve support issues and fulfill their requests within Service
Now. - Manage a team of Service
Now System Administrators. - Resolve LDAP/SSO related issues and
- related issues. - Enable plugins (available or HI portal).
- Create transform maps if necessary to transform the data.
- Modify existing transform maps.
- Add or modify field maps to map the fields into Tf
SNow. - Create or modify simple transform map scripts to transfer data smoothly into Tf
SNow. - Create/Customize SLAs.
- Create Service
Now reports and dashboards. - Manage email properties and system properties.
- Table archiving.
- Coordinate with Service
Now vendor support for planned events, changes, or activities carried out in the Service
Now datacentre. - Create Basic Service Catalog UI.
- Promote update sets.
- Resolve service portal related issues.
- Validate ACL for troubleshooting and manage workflow troubleshooting.
- Manage 3rd level support and escalations.

Role Pre-Requisites
The candidate should have at least 12 months of
- on experience with Service
Now Administration, database concepts, and data onboarding experience.
- Understand the dependency between different Service
Now platform and cloud components. - Have experience with Service
Now datasets, transform maps, and reporting. - Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology.
