Purpose
The Service
Now Lead Developer works as Sr Developer and technical advisor on the Service
Now platform, ITSM and ITBM solution. Defines requirements, designs, develops and implements Service
Now technical solutions, complex system configuration, development of custom features and enhancements, and complex report and database query development. Manages

- end implementations, provides expert level of support and technical mentoring to developers.
Responsibilities
Service
Now Lead Developer will own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of Service
Now. The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles. They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations on Service
Now platform.
- Manage High security settings
- Service Portal development and enhancement
- Develop and manage UI pages, Macro and various objects by utilizing platform based Jelly script, Java
Script, HTML and CSS. - Build advance email notification, templates, email script and event handling.
- Create/modify client script, UI policy and front end scripts
- Manage and develop various server side objects like Business rules, Script include, Workflow scripts, Schedules as per business requirement.
- Change management advance workflow customization and advance workflow scripts
- Advance Service Catalog UI and workflow development
- Integrations AD/SSO/LDAP and some third party. Develop integration scripts
- Works in upgrade issues/enhancements
- Works on advance custom application development and enhancement
- Install mid server and test connectivity along with Implementation Specialist
- Integration catalog script development
- Custom advance workflow activity development
- Designing and Creating an Application (ITSM, ITBM, ITFM, HRMS, CSM, ITOM)
Role Pre-Requisites
The Candidate should have 3+ years
- on experience in Development in ITSM and NON ITSM Applications in Service
Now. Expertise in application development, Service Portal development, Software development life cycle (SDLC)/SCRUM, Agile and an
- depth understanding of Cloud stack, specifically Service
Now. Client-side programming/front-end development will be an added advantage. Should know advanced web programming frameworks.
