YOUR PROFILE

• T-SQL (Transact-SQL)
• SQL Server
• Knowledge on Always ON Availability Groups
• Understanding of Change Data Capture Processes and architecture
• Experience on performance analysis (Profiler, execution plans, and resource utilization)
• Backup verification and successful execution (differential backups on a regular basis; full backups once per week)
• Perfect understanding of the way of working of a specific database, including transaction logs evaluation (cross-check)
• Monitoring
• Auditing
• Experience in migrating
  - premise databases to different flavors of Azure SQL (SQL Server on Azure VM; Azure Managed Instance; Azure SQL DB; Elastic Pools) including how to assess the best deployment model
• Understand the various purchase models (DTU vs Vcore) and service tiers
• Knowledge of Elastic Jobs
• Database tuning & troubleshooting experience to create automation processes (in Power
  Shell and similar scripting languages) to perform several database verifications and consistency checks
• Experience in releases migration with good knowledge about the best practices to be applied (added value)
• Experience in AGILE methodology
• Team spirit and flexibility to work together with consultants in different time zones
• Fluent in English (minimum B2, Speaking, Writing, and Listening)
